Missoula 4-H Horse Project

Dear 4-H Horse Committee and 4-H Horse Project families,

Minutes from the March meeting of the Horse Committee are attached.

At the April 13th meeting, we were asked to send out a few notes and reminders.

  • The 4-H Ranch Horse Project committee (a sub-committee of the 4-H Horse Committee) will meet at Perkins on N Reserve at 6:30pm on April 19th.
  • The 4-H Horse Show Patterns Committee (a sub-committee….) was originally scheduled to meet at Perkins at 6:30pm on April 28th.  That meeting has been cancelled, and the individuals responsible for the various areas of the show will meet to develop patterns.
  • Pattern options for the 2011 Western Montana Fair 4-H Horse Show will be available by May 1st.
  • The mandatory (for first-year and level one members) May Clinic will be held Saturday, May 7th, at the Missoula Equestrian Park, starting at 9am.  Upper level members who plan to attend can arrive starting at 10:30am.  See the April newsletter for more information.  A reminder postcard will be sent to Project members.
  • A mandatory clinic for all Ranch Horse Project members was originally scheduled for May 14th.  Because of a facility challenge, this clinic has been moved to Sunday, May 22nd starting at 5pm, at Ernie Otopaulik’s arena (23685 Highway 93 N) in Evaro.  A postcard will be sent to all members in that project.
  • There will be no concessions at either the May 7th or May 21st clinics.  Bottled will be available at no charge.

Thanks,

Campbell
